Harvest Pumpkin

Autumn is my favorite season! Intense warm colors and cool days inspired this harvest pumpkin design.
I’ve painted this on an 11″x14″ canvas, but have also included a design sized to 8″x10″. This versatile design could be adapted to so many surfaces such as canvas, welcome banner in wood or RocLon, a basket or box lid, cabinet door, etc.
It is painted in a basic grisaille technique using a valued underpainting in umber, with transparent glazes added for the pop of color.
