Fall Welcome Sign
… using DecoArt Americana Acrylic Paints

This colorful autumn sign is painted on a 24″ long pine board (1×8) which you can have cut at your local home improvement store. It has a bright pumpkin, sunflowers, dahlias, and a couple butterflies painted with DecoArt Americana Acrylics. I’ve worked this design in many layers of washy, transparent color. The lettering and butterflies can be stenciled or simply trace and paint them in.
It uses a complimentary color scheme of aqua-blues and yellow-oranges so the colors just pop off the board and will brighten your autumn decor.
