Love My Peeps …
by Sharon Chinn
I hope everyone loves simple little signs like I do. They can add a touch of whimsy & color to your home. As you know I’ve been redecorating and organizing a new craft/painting space. This has been a slow process (and I owe you an updated look at what I’m doing). Last week I brought up my cutting machine which has been sitting dormant for years in my dungeon. But now I have an easily accessible space for it, and I was anxious to try it out again, so on this past gloomy Saturday morning I decided to cut a stencil for a little sign I could complete in a few hours to bring some springtime into my home… the ‘love my peeps’ sign was born.
I used a vinyl stencil cut from contact paper to paint my sign, but I’ve included the line drawing so you can also just trace and paint it in a traditional manner. If you have a digital cutter, there are links below to png or svg files which you can upload to your cutter software to cut your own stencil. I’ve also included some alternate peeps phrases to customize your sign.
Pattern includes 12 pages of colored photos, supply list, instructions, and line drawing to trace. Feel free to add or subtract bunnies to personalize your sign and it can be painted on any surface of your choice. I’ve painted mine on a 7″x12″ piece of pine.
The design is painted with DecoArt Americana Acrylics.
